Staff Schedules

Access this page using Manager>Staff Schedules.

Use this page to view and schedule events on your employees' calendars if you are a manager and have Manager timesheet permissions in the HR Management module.

Note: If you do not see the Manager>Staff Schedules option in EWS, you do not have Manager timesheet permissions specified for your employee ID in the HR Management module. Only employee IDs that have Manager timesheet permissions specified in the HR Management module can view employee schedules and add events on employees schedules using EWS. For more information about Manager timesheet permissions, see Understanding Permissions.

Employee/manager relations are configured in the HR Management module. For more information about specifying managers for employee IDs, see the HR Management module online help.

You can add an event to an employee schedule by selecting the employee name from the Staff drop-down list, double-clicking on the date, and then entering event information in the Appointment page. For more information about the Appointment page and adding events to employee schedules, see Appointment and Adding Events to Employee Schedules.
